PRESS RELEASE: Robideaux Report Year-In-Review and Showcase of Culture Participants Announced
PRESS RELEASE: Today, Lafayette Mayor-President Joel Robideaux announced a sampling of the community-wide participants at his inaugural parish-wide address, titled “Robideaux Report.” The event, made possible in part by Platinum Sponsor LUS Fiber, will be held on the evening of Thursday, March 30 at the Heymann Center.
Robideaux Report is being produced by the Community Foundation of Acadiana (CFA) and will feature two components: 6-7 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center – A “Year-in-Review” report that discusses the challenges and opportunities Lafayette Parish faces as a community, and includes a reveal of 2017 initiatives; 7-9 p.m. in the Frem Boustany Convention Center (adjacent to the auditorium) – A Showcase of Culture – the food, music, art and recreational opportunities – that makes Lafayette such a special place in which to live, work and play.
“A parish-wide collaboration of organizations and individuals has been working on what is shaping up to be an exciting evening where we celebrate our past and look forward to our collective future. I look forward to sampling the food of our best restaurants, and seeing all of the cultural assets on display at the Showcase of Culture following the Year-In-Review,” said Robideaux.
